The Notts Book Arts’ BLEND exhibition is the first touring exhibition I have been a part of, and it has been wonderful to see the Oyster Book swimming along to libraries across Nottingham thanks to the careful handling and thoughtful curation of Jenny Stevenson and Hilke Kurzke.
This wonderful exhibition brings together artists from the UK and beyond under the theme of ‘BLEND’ – Some artists blend different techniques to make their unique book, others speak of the blending of cultures and identities. Others yet of how sea and lend blend at the waterfront… come and see what else it can mean.
The exhibition has travelled to Beeston Library, Nottingham Central Library (pictured), and Wollaton Library, and will finish in Arnold Library in January 2025. It’s been fantastic to see my work in such different settings, alongside all these other brilliant pieces.
