I’m delighted that my poem ‘Alder’ has been published with Paperboats as part of their ongoing digital zine collection. The poem is featured in Issue Six: Nature’s Voice.

Editors Ian Grosz & Alex Nye introduce Issue Six as: “What follows is testament to the many different ways Nature can speak to us. In poetry and prose, a diverse range of writers bear witness to the vulnerability of birds and other animals; the human impacts on climate and environment; hear the imagined song of trees; give voice to glaciers and storms, mosses and lichen”.

Paperboats is a collective of writers focused on nature and environment in a time of climate and ecological breakdown. They are Scotland based and global in outlook, and write to affirm the astonishing life of this planet, and how its future may yet be shaped.

It’s wonderful to see my poem alongside so many other wonderful pieces in this zine. Link to the full issue here: https://paperboats.org/category/zines/issue-six/
