Waterflow is an interactive piece exploring the symbiotic movements between seaweed and the tides.
This work explores how the movement of seawater has influenced the material forms of seaweeds that fan and float on the rippling tide, reflected in the playful ‘flow’ of images produced through the flag book format. Audiences are warmly invited to ‘read’ the book and move through the tide of images that generate notions of flow, light and organic movement.
The flag book structure was originally created by Hedi Kyle.
