Diptych selected for UN FOR MED 2026 edition

Work selected for UN FOR MED 2026 edition

Huge thanks to The Emerging Art Foundation for including my work as part of the 2026 edition of UN FORM ED, a yearly short-form zine which explores the interactions between visual and writerly practices. Delighted that this piece is featured alongside work from fellow winners Arun Dodds, Celeste MacLeod-Brown and Daniele Sambo.

This work is a diptych combining photographic negatives from my personal archive and embroidered text. The piece explores memory and image, thinking about the processes of looking back at images we’ve made in the past, and how they connect with who we are now. What we remember and what we don’t remember become bound together in the process of revisiting, especially through photographic works which ostensibly show us the ‘true’ reflection of the past.
